To know Blaze is to love Blaze. Once you see this video, you will know why I call him the Wonder Cat! Blaze lost his mother before he was fully weaned, so thankfully a surrogate mother was found for him. That is a tough start to life. Blaze was kicked out of a couple of homes because he could not get along well with others. That is when we found Blaze at Paws Patrol, the cat rescue in Green Valley, AZ https://www.greenvalleypawspatrol.org/. We adopted him initially, but after just a week, we knew he was the one for us and he became a permanent member of our family. We are thankful for his presence in our home. We had lost our dog of 13 years, Winnie, the previous year, and both of my wife's parents in the span of just 8 months. Blaze has been with us now going on two years. I have no idea why he has started going to the highest places in the house lately, and I do worry about him getting hurt, but there is not much we can do about it. If you have been thinking about getting a pet, please consider adopting. There are so many little lives out there that need a forever home. Maybe you could provide one of those homes.

What a Jump!! (glad he landed on the couch). My question is, how did he get UP there in the first place? It is so high up! Blaze is a cat of many talents. Love how he answers you when you talk, a very dear boy. Paws Patrol is a wonderful organization. Blaze sure found a great home, and you found a great cat.

Glad you found Blaze, Bart. He's a doll. I love how he answers you, too. Our cats would do the same. It has been said that they can survive a fall of 1-2 stories and also, if they start the fall at a weird angle, or upside down, they'll automatically land on their feet!

Cats are amazing and adorable at the same time.

My wife told me that he had jumped one previous time from the same place to the couch that she is aware of, I had never seen it before. God only knows what he does when we are not here!!! Yeah, Blaze and I have some good talks. Usually it is about him wanting to eat right now!!! Paws Patrol is awesome, and so is Blaze (The Wonder Cat). We are lucky to have him!

Blaze is pretty athletic actually. He makes a jump of 3 or 4 feet look effortless. He has always answered when I talk to him, I really like that he does. I know cats are pretty good at not falling and landing on their feet, but like any parent, I still worry about him! How do you like my cat talk voice? ;-) Honestly, I do not walk around talking like that, that voice is just for Blaze The Wonder Cat!!!

T'was a voice of endearment, Bart. We do this with our 13 y/o Chow Chow as well! We love animals so much.
