Something else for Tulsa Oklahoma to consider " electric buses " with high voltage wires embedded into the street instead of overhead as a trolley car would have. Electric bus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A serious container facility at the Port. With the expansion of the Panama Canal, Tulsa can be in the running as an even more notable inland port. The bulk is already covered. Containers can float stacked on special barges then can be moved onto major container ships at NoLA. Or not ... no reason they can't continue on as ocean going barges. Either way.

During one of my family vacations ( working vacation ) in the 1980's I worked at the port of Tulsa Oklahoma through a temporary employment agency Manpower, and it would be great if they could somehow expand it a bit , however you know that it's going up against the ( Ports of St. Louis and Memphis ) as a Regional Port for that area.
I even went out there on some of my vacations when I don't even have a Job There ( Port of Tulsa ) to just see all of the lazy barges on the river.....LOL
