Sorry, I'm just tired of this team underperforming when it's most important. It's as if they think the other team will just lay down for them when it comes to critical bowl games. Losing to Boise State the way they did was absolutely pathetic, and then a repeat last year.
Hey, as a Husker fan, be thankful for the great run you guys have had. NU had all of those years in the late 80's and early 90s when we'd win the Big 8 only to lose in the bowl game - many lost nat'l championship opportunities. Osborn made adjustments and NU became the dominant team of the 90s. Now we are trying to rebound after our last nat'l championship game in 2001. Stoops will eventually find a way to win the big one again - too good of a coach. However, he may not get much more time as I think Bo will have NU back in the national title hunt next year. This year I think NU will be in the Big 12 Championship game but still a step away from the BCS. I do believe our games (regular season and Big 12) with OU will be much better this year then the past few.

Default Stoops

did away with the traditional "recruit the thugs" approach, and serves as an outstanding role model for his young men on and off campus. Of course, there will always be those fans who think of college football in the same manner as the pros. For many of us who participated in high school or college sports many decades ago, today we remember the character-building aspect of that experience. Many of us who are O.U. graduates view the althletic program as an opportunity to mold the characters of these young men, and even to educate them in the process.

Stoops does a great job of creating an exciting environment in the football program for athletes and fans alike, while staying focussed on the real goal: providing these young athletes the opportunity to develop into great human beings.
