This is an upcoming series on NBC's fall lineup. Trailers look interesting, but give no real indication of what the show will be about. I don't know, maybe extraterrestrials or something along those lines. Speculation from anyone else?

I hope it's better than the way that guy gets caught by the air marshall...that scene was a stupid IMO.

Zeljko Ivanek's in the cast, so it's probably safe to assume we've got our weasel bureaucrat #1 for the series.

Anyone anxiously waiting for the premiere of this science fiction show.

Here is the premise of the show which premieres Sept 20th, NBC.
The Event follows a man who, while investigating the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée, ends up unraveling the biggest cover-up in U.S. history; an alien coverup which shapes the very core of mankind as a whole, whose implications are lifechanging.

I just hope that the program lives up to all the hype it's getting now. IMO, lots of hype often means it's a turkey that they put to much money in.

It's been online for at least a month now as to what it's about. You can google it anytime.

Oh. I am on the fence about the show, so I never googled it. I wanted to see what others thought about it and the first episode when it premieres.

I just hope there is no political agenda. I'm not confident of that after seeing the On Demand clip for the show.
