So things were clicking right along as sort of normal with the new twist being the Father issue then.....Boris hires a new Dr.? Whats up with that? The website makes it sound temporary while Boris and Hank go looking for new therepies, but really....with Boris and Hank together "the castle" had to have its own Dr.? The few people left couldn't make do with Divya and "normal" Dr. services? Is this just a cheap ploy to provide a competing love interest for Hank and Jill? Or will it turn into something else?
I'm not sure I like the Dad thread, or maybe I just don't like Winkler in the role.

I'n not sure we're supposed to like the dad.....he's a jerk. I don't like Winkler anyhow, so that's ok with me if he plays a boorish character.

The introduction of a new doctor is supposed to be a cliffhanger. Remember Boris has brought in others before--a shark specialist, etc. Doesn't mean Hankmed is history. We have to stay tuned for next week!

I wonder if there will be 3 way tension there
1) the new female Dr. was checking out Hank so sexual tension
2) some insecurity on Hanks part on whether or not she'll be taking his job
3) Hank and his former girlfriend still have residual feelings so anything going on btw him and the new Doc will probably cause some problems
I hope I;m a little wrong, I like to be surprised

I didn't like the second eposide that focused on their father. The storyline wasn't as annoying in the third eposide because not much time was spent on it.

Well I really want to go to Cuba after this last episode! Wouldn't it be great if Cuba became a democracy and was able to join the present.....well mostly great
I liked Evan in this episode more, loved his domino's game. Diviya(sp) and Jill was interesting and sweet.
The new Dr. what a piece of work. I hope they kick her ass. Meanwhile watching Hank and Evan totally fall for her before her announcement just because she was good looking and playing them was so irritating, men!

Cuba doesn't need to become a democracy. The United States is the ONLY NATION that still imposes imbargos in Cuba. Canada trades with Cuba.

You can't fly to Cuba from the United States, but you can get there by flying to another country.

You have to ask them to not stamp your passport so you don't get in trouble with the United States when you return.

And if you get yourself into any trouble while you're down there, you're on your own since the US doesn't have an embassy there.

It's actually silly. The cold war is over with Russia. We trade with Russia. We travel to Russia.

But the embargo still exists on Cuba---when it was the missle crisis with Russia that caused all of this!

Of course, that's oversimplifying things. Our embargo really was first response to Cuba seizing American assets during nationalization in 1960.

But the Cuban Missile Crisis is what solidified and strengthened the embargo in 1962. As I said, that was Russia's doing.

Since we trade with Russia now, I see no reason for us to not trade with Cuba.

What I'm trying to say is that Cuba isn't the country that needs to change. American policy needs to change.

Cuba is a #1 vacation spot for Canadians!

Hopes thanks for the info. We'll have to disagree about something tho. I'm not sure how I feel about the embargo and not being able to travel there, but it is still run by a corrupt despot which causes pause either way.
So I would disagree with the "Cuba doesn't need to change" statement. It does need to change. Point in the show as that the Uncle couldn't seek treatment because he was in hiding. The female Cuban Dr. was going to turn him in for "being an enemy of the state". Not something you hear in Russia anymore.
Previews have Dad back, not feeling that story thread at all.

I liked the Cuba episodes as a nice change of pace. They actually filmed those eps first because the trees on Long Island had not leafed out yet so they went to Puerto Rico for the filming and the eps that first aired this season actually were filmed later. I think it has been a warmer spring in NY this year as it seems the episodes look sunnier this season than last.

Well looks like Divia is going to have to suck up the idea that her arranged marriage may be a good deal. Either than or Raj is gay?
Do you see Hank just falling for this new Dr.? Seems a little out of character to me.
You know this show isn't wild or crazy and so not getting much attention. I can say for some reason I really like all the characters and feel quite invested. Kind of nice to have a show that isn't trying too hard and getting too raunchy just get cater to the raunchy crowd.
