One of my favorites was "The Merv Griffin Show". That one also had "the sidler" in it.

Seinfeld will still be shown 30 years from now.

It has been my experience that people who I know and think of as not real bright didn't get the humor.

Its possible to get the humor but still think something is unfunny.

And the humor on Seinfeld isn't incredibly highbrow anyway.

I considered it to be one of the best comedies ever. However, it was the WORST finale of any show I have ever seen. It made you realize that it was time for it to close down.

I agree, humor is an individual thing and as far as humor, you can "get it", but still not like it or think it's funny. Seinfeld was just not my thing and I found it boring! Each to his/her own...

Seinfield was a take it or leave it. I liked any scene George and his screeching parents weren't in.
