I agree - I love Judge Judy laying into the morons who come on her show. My favorites - when she is just barely resisting interrupting; when she yells out of nowhere and they jump; when she makes it clear she is bored and needs to move the nonsense along. That being said - there is no way I would go on her show. You have to wonder what on earth are some of these people thinking?
I've been a JJ fan for years. There's something very cathartic about coming home from a crappy day at work and watching her tear down some random cretin, scammer or bum. I can take or leave the other court shows, though I do have a soft spot for Judge Mathis.
I love when judge judy says :youre a bum when some guy has ripped someone off . Then there have been shows where she looks at the girl and says :you look like you have some sense it is a good thing that you got away from him and you wont even know his name in ten years . LOL !!! I agree . You go Judge Judy !!! Judge judy for president !!! LOL !!!
Some of the cases she has to hear and the idiots attempting to explain themselves - I would go home exhausted at the end of the day! And three cheers for Bird. Some of the faces he makes are simply priceless! I don't know about you folks, but if I was ever unforunate enough to be part of a law suit and heard that I was appearing before JJ, I would simply say "you win", I'm not risking the public humiliation!
And here is a little aside: When we go to Ireland each summer, I have neighbors that will be visiting suddenly say "We have to be going now, JJ is on." She is a world-wide accepted gem!

It's not me, and it's never going to be me. Can't wait until she's off the air. I don't even want to run into her when I'm in a different city and I flip through the channels.
I love Judge Judy as a show, but as far as television judges go, Marilyn Milian is the cream of the crop. She's also very no-nonsense, but she's hilariously funny at the same time. And I love when she throws in a Spanish saying!
