I loved this show and watched it for a few seasons. I ultimately had to stop watching it because it was depressing. The death wasn't depressing, but the main characters' pathetic lives were never, ever getting any better. There just weren't any glimpses of sunshine. Great show. Great concept. I think it could have been a tad better by allowing some success or happiness in the main characters lives on occasion.
I agree. Great show but I got frustrated with characters for similar reasons...similar mistakes, refusal to grow up etc.
If you want to get the sniffles, go to Youtube and watch the last 10 minutes of the show.
OMG I cannot watch the ending to this anymore. I literally burst into tears. By FAR one of the best endings to a long running show out there. Just simply stunning
I just watched Everyone's Waiting, the final episode, again.
The montage over the last ten minutes, interspersing Claire's departure by car from Los Angeles with the future fates of all the major characters, remains one of the most exceptional moments in television history.
There are good series finales, there are very good series finales, and then there's Six Feet Under.
