I guess the Duchess of York visited the set of DA today which has begun filming the 6th season. Interesting photo of the event. Who is there from and who is not? Jay
I'd love if they incorporate another royal story-line in the series, just as they did in season 4 with Rose's coming out ball/Prince of Wales scandal/etc.

You can see how thrilled Kate was to be meeting the stars as much as they were of her! I haven't seen so many pics of Kate with a REAL big, happy smile like that except when she's around George and Wills. What a thrilling visit for all!
Kate is definitely another Diana in personality, if not more so because her husband truly loves her.

Have you ever seen the photos/videos of Elizabeth visiting the sets of her favorite TV shows? She's wearing a big smile, too.
Thanks for sharing the pics; I too thought Kate had the happiest smile, and so did the actors! I'll bet they were all nervous to meet each other. It was nice they baked her a cake. I wonder if she and William have ever visited Highclere for a social occasion in real life.
And loved the collection of Granny's witticisms. She reminds me of my own who passed away last year. Both strikingly beautiful... She has such blue eyes! She makes growing older seem so graceful and like maybe it won't be so bad. I hate to read about her health issues; she wasn't able to meet Kate, but she's met the Queen so that's even better I guess!
When the family was discussing Mary's visit to Anna in prison:
Violet: "Did she take a cake with a file in it?"
Robert: "You'd visit Denker if she were locked up."
Violet: "Only to check if the locks were sound."
After discussing Violets foiled elopement with the prince:
Isobel: "And you've never strayed again?"
