Did you guys happen to hear about Nickelodeon's new block coming July 25th on midnight about running ALL the old shows from the 90s?! Now, I'm only 18 but I remember watching Nickelodeon in the 90s religiously with my sister. We remember all the old shows and we're extremely excited about this because no other current modern cartoons or children's tv show can COMPARE with the golden age of Nickelodeon. People have been protesting Nick for more than 5 years now to bring back all the old shows to no avail. They FINALLY decided to listen and bring the shows back!

Official Facebook Page: 90s Are All That

I am definitely going to plan some kind of party or get together for this. I just have a few issues. The time. They are starting it at midnight. Until 4. That is not enough time to see all the shows that everyone wants to see. And the kids that watched these shows back then who are now working grown adults have to work in the morning. So it's not going to be an event everyone can stay up to watch. I think they should have started at least 9 or 10 pm. This is my only complaint. But at least their doing it right?

Also if you haven't heard, Shout Factory has purchased all the rights to the Nickelodeon shows to put them on DVD! So you can order all the old shows from Amazon or in your local store. I would look for them at Sam's Club. That's where they usually have a large assortment of television shows released to DVD. Here are a few that have been released just this year.

Ahh Real Monsters!!! Season 1

Rocko's Modern Life Season 1

The Wild Thornberry's Season 1

I am so thankful to Shout Factory that I can finally re-live my childhood. I no longer have to watch the crappy shows that are on TV now.

I'm a little irked about the timing of these shows too. However, I plan to set my DVR EVERY night and watch it the next day when I get home from work! This is the greatest idea Nick has had in a long time.

You're never too old! Nothing wrong with embracing the inner kiddo in you. If it weren't on so late, I'd have my daughter watch some of the shows as I was just telling her about the shows that used to come on back then. I loved Nick in the 90's!
