To JLo's credit, she stood by Diddy during his arrest for weapons violations in 1999. He was involved in a shooting at a nightclub (JLo was with him at the time) and his driver claimed that Diddy had tried to bribe him into taking the weapon after the shooting.
It was reported that JLo and he were about to break up then but she stayed with him as a show of support until he was found not guilty. She left him right after that, though.

I agree with you. I think he had best performance of the night but not a fan of his..but he just grew on me a little.
