Ditto. What RanchoNan said

I think Elise made a couple of really good points in her interview and I like her even better - the most important point she made is that Idol is looking for pop stars around age 20. Elise is a different kind of singer, and is really more comfortable as a lead singer in a group. That's different than what the Idol stage produces.

All is good -- she got wonderful exposure and will still be doing her music long after Bieberbieberbieber has a pot belly, 4 ex-wives, and a toupee.

Anyone else besides me and gobucks sad about Hollie gone?

Hollie and Skylar will have great careers. Better than Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, and Britney Spears, the ones who make dumb music.

If makes you feel better, I liked Hollie a heck of a lot more than Skylar. And...I thought Hollie had a great, sweet personality and she showed remarkable strength.

I don't think Philip sounds like Dave Mathews, like everyone else thinks. There's something there, but they are not exactly similar.

Agree. They're just two singers with a guitar... This doesn't make one the "copy/paste" of the other!

Hollie isn't powerful like Skylar but Hollie has a lovely tone to her voice.

P2 has a voice that sounds like he's wasted. His awesomely good guitar skills doesn't make up for his lousy singing.

Most of the singers on Idol sound like someone else, mostly each other. At least the ones who make it to popular judging. So friggin what ! ! ! Phillip Phillips has more stage presence and maturity and ability to make a song work than probably 98% of the sounds alikes in Idol's history.

If he does sound like Dave Matthews, then he's an improvement over the Dave Matthews sound. And I've been listening to Dave Matthews since early in his popular career. Tho' neither frequently, nor regularly.

Well, in my opinion she's just a clone of the rest of the truely untalented bunch that jump around the stage half or three quarters undressed female stars these days. I'm totally not a fan of this Madonna or MJ style entertainment. I find it boring actually. When I watch a performance like that I wonder,"What qualifies her to judge anyone"?????
