Sorry. PBS has better programming.

Believe it or not I watch this show and it grew on me but I enjoy watching it because these men (for the most part) are over 30 years old and have no qualms about bringing women home to spend the night in their childhood room while their mother is downstairs cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry

This is not remotely attractive the only person I would give a pass to is the 27 year old who just got married

Is Italian American culture really like this over on Arthur Avenue or overall? There are some people (American or not) who do stay home until they get married but these guys just seem lame as hell

I believe his name is Peter. He appears to be the only "normal" one in the group, but I question why he's hanging out with a group of men generally 10 years his senior.

I know quite a few Italian men who lived at home until they got married. But nearly all of them got married in their twenties.

This reminds me of that Ernest Borgnine movie, where he plays a single Italian man from the Bronx who's under pressure to get married.

That movie is called Marty, and if I remember correctly, Ernest Borgnine won an Academy Award for it! Loved it!
