Add Bunheads and Magic City to the list of shows given the boot.
Being a 40 year old guy with interest in dance I definitely wasn't the target audience ABC family was gunning for. But I got a kick (pardon the pun) out of the show. It was cute and showed promise. To be left hanging for months then cancelled after just 1 year was disheartening.
Then there's Magic City. Loved season one. Season two was a disappointment from the new opening theme music to the storyline. Even James Caan couldn't save it. Oh well

I can watch just about anything if the story is decent so I gave Bunheads a chance. As a 40+ male with zero interest in dance I was certainly not their target audience either but I can find enjoyment in lots of things that many would call "chick shows" (90210, Gossip Girl, etc). It just never drew me in.

I am not surprised it got cancelled.... I fast-forwarded through most of the first few episodes in the second season and knew it was done for me. Then I deleted it from my DVR schedule.
It wasn't a great show, more a show to do laundry, etc. by, but I enjoyed it.
I wish that they hadn't ended on a cliffhanger and at least had a chance to tie up the loose ends.
Oh, well.
The Glades is gone? That's messed up. So we're left hanging with poor Jim shot twice and bleeding to death? I guess it's too much to hope for a 2 hour movie to wrap things up
