The way the main characters are motoring around the continent, the title needs to be changed from Revolution to The Walking Fast.
I'll allow that time has gone by. I think a lot of scenes of them walking along would be pretty boring.
What could be made to work in a book may not in a tv seires that likes battles.
All in all ONCE they got into the story it was pretty good this week. They had some meat there. Charlie has entirely lost her youth and that dreamy kid who liked to look at her post cards has vanished.

I agree with you that it could work in a book but not in a tv series. If they spent all that time showing them getting from one place to another then it would have taken the whole first season for them to go from Chicago to Philly. I don't understand why people nitpick over those details. The things I tend to nitpick over are continuity and following the plot/back history of characters.
I loved this weeks show. I only have one problem. Emma said the child was 11? Did I hear that right? Also, when they showed the flashbacks between Emma, Miles and Sebastion was that before the blackout? I'm just trying to figure out the timeline. I figure that those flashbacks had to be before the blackout because we saw Miles and Sebastion together when the power went out which was 15 years ago. So how could the child be only 11? They used different actors to portray Miles and Sebastion as much younger during the flashbacks with Emma so that would mean the child would have to be at least 15 years old. I'm so confused! Does anyone know the correct timeline?

Yes I believe the flashbacks were before the blackout, I got the impression they were in their teens, or early 20's. Remember in the first episode when the blackout happened Myles and Monroe where together driving back to their base,as grown men. I missed the part where she said the child was 11, I'll have to re-watch to catch that part. That mid-season break really threw me off, I'll have to watch the whole first season again just to remember things I may have forgotten.

Emma didn't say her son was eleven, that was dude-with-the-beard's wife who started a new family after he left her (post-black out).
The show is kinda of stupid if you ask me. They were flying in a helicopter and had to stop to refuel at an old military base. They were searching for 15 year old fuel to put in there helicopter. The shelf life of kerosene is limited, a year, two at the most. It will still burn, but good luck getting an engine to run on the stuff.

I thought the same thing. Whatever fuel they found is not going to work too well.
One would think walking from ATLANTA to Colorado, the fat guy would drop about 200 pounds. Blonde looks fresh as a daisy. Still I enjoy this show. Only a couple episodes left.
