What are some shows you can't believe are still on? For the the two that surprise me are Two and a Half Men and The Simpsons. The Simpsons stopped being good over a decade ago and Two and Half Men has become very stale. Can anyone else think of a show that they think has been on too far past its expiration date?

Those Law and Order shows. I've never watched a single one, but I guess they've been on for years, same with the CSI ones.

The Real World is another one. It was good the first 3 or 4 seasons. It seemed like once the Chicago season hit, and then Las Vegas, it crashed and burned fast and was no longer about anything to do with the real world. It became, let's throw some 20-somethings together, get them really drunk, and watch them fight and make out.. I was shocked to learn there is yet another season on now. Anyone remember the first season how the one girl decided to learn what it's like to be homeless and went to spend a night with a group of homeless people in the park? You'd never see that on the show today. They even had to find their own jobs.

I forgot about the CSI shows. Those have passed their expiration dates.

Survivor--we watched one and that was enough. But, seriously, hasn't it been years and years since it was first on??

Like it or not, most of these shows are cash cows. They cost less to make than a show with "real" actors and actresses and thus their profitability ratio is higher.
