Just watched Jeopardy....Alex is starting to sound tired and weak.

It's heartbreaking.

Alex is such a great host because of his credibility. And he's as credible as he is because of his intellect.
Alex reads the script including all the questions before taping. He is given notes on all the clues and works with the writers on things like that.

Oh no, please I'd vote in Mayim Bialik (former star portraying "Amy" on BBT, IQ cited falling between 150-163, holds Ph.D. In neuroscience) before that GG character.

Of course , he needs to and makes no secret if it either , spending more hours on prep than doing the show .

Of course he does. That doesn't take away from the fact that he clearly knows what he's talking about. Any viewer can see that he's well verse in many topics.

The new host, as sad as that idea is, will need to be as well.

I'd like Buzzy, I think he'd be a good option.

yikes. Life must be real tough for you if you'd have an issue with a female hosting a TV show.

Seriously, could you please explain your reasoning here? This is not a person with an annoying voice (unlike the person who was suggested in jest, Gilbert Gottfried), or with any other objectionable personal traits.

So can you explain why there is not a single woman, in the 3.5 billion women in the world, who would be acceptable?

I think it should be a woman.
