AFAIC, Andrew Lincoln IS the show. It started with him and it should end with him.
At least Morgan jumped ship (well, not really — he was reassigned) to FTWD, so his character is safe for now. Maybe some of the other characters, like Carol, could migrate over there as well.

I like Fear so much better with Morgan on it. Kudos to the stars though who recognize when it's time to leave a good thing. It's time for TWD to wind down, I agree.

Agree; I've watched this long; I'll see it through until the end! Which one is Laura - is that Elfman's character? I definitely could see John as a lead and Elfman too - IF she's not evil which she seems to be.
He USED TO BE THE SHOW. Now though I think the show has outgrown him. Bad writing, this stuuuuupid Negan crapolla, Michonne becoming just an appendage of Rick, Carl being killed, Rick is no longer central to the show, IMO. It could go on without him, IF there is decent writing. BIG IF.

All that being said, I agree that the two shows should merge now. The writers seem to be able to support only one good show anyway. I'd also like to see John Dorie take the lead, seeing how he's the new gunslinger, and maybe have Carol and a few of the other stronger characters crossover to join Morgan.
