Did anyone catch the premier of "Z Nation" on the Sci Fi network? It is the latest Zombie show.
I watched it the other night and couldn't help but compare it to AMC's "The Walking Dead".
Z nation does have a good premise about a guy who was bit by zombies and lived and now the rag tag group needs to get this possible antidote to California. The one thing I didin't like about it was the lack of depth to the characters. I know it was only the first episode but the characters just didn't seem as interesting as the ones in The Walking Dead.
I'd like to see this show take off and plan to tune in the next time it is on but I wonder if it has what it takes for a long run?
Zombies that can run and swim but can be dispatched in grossly entertaining ways, and a DJ who is about to insert his substantial proboscis into the new Z-Nation.
The floating zombies that played dead and then attacked on queue? That was rather unbelievable. If they can do that they should be more organized in their other activities as well.

Coordinated, sentient zombies? Sounds horrible, but I'll give this "not zombies" zombie show a try.
The best actor on the show gets killed in episode 1? That was disappointing.
I thought the same thing too. I thought that guy was going to be the driving force that keeps the group together then he gets taken out by a baby. I guess that was a first, I have never seen a Zombie baby.
Maybe that soldier will be back having somehow survived the attack?
I will give it another chance this coming week.
