This show might be interesting, a "detective" show set 200 years in the future.

Maybe SyFy is stepping up!?
God I hope so!

Just finished episode three. I am hooked. I am floored how well this show is put together. The Syfy channel has really stepped up.

Just saw the season 2 premiere. More space SF and battles, less of the "world building" setup of season one, but more information about the Mars colonists and their mentality.

Solid hard SF. Small smart things, such as people suited in vacuum turning off their radios and touching helmets to talk without being overheard. Great hard SF battle concepts such as ships that don't "bank" and guided missile, rail guns, and slug-throwing cannon.

Almost thought I'd see a genuine Heinlein troop drop from space...maybe later.

Doesn't the entity on Eros seek out power sources? They are going to push Eros into the sun to destroy it? Look out Sun!

Well we know a nuke will destroy it.

When I posted that I had just started watching the latest episode. Moot point now.

Rewatched the battle between the Roci and the stealth ship. Really, really good. The image of the hard rounds piercing the Roci look exactly the way an old B-17 waist gunner described Luftwaffe fighter rounds piercing his B-17. The bullets carried in their wake globules of vaporized aluminum from the skin of the aircraft.
