While searching to see if I can find out why Artem is in all the promos for this season I found an article where he dated Carrie Ann for 2 years! She was 14 years older than him seems he would be much shorter than her also. Can't find out why he is gone & Louie stepped in although I'm happy Louie will be back.
We have 3 older folks (Busey, Khan, Dean)this year I don't recall another season where we had that many.
I love Bindi Irwin but I have to admit I will watch to see Gary Busey. That will be very interesting. If he is as crazy as he was on the "Apprentice" Anna Trebunskaya will have her work cut out for her.
Alek Skarlatos must have been a last minute decision. Kind of an odd choice but they have had war heroes so I guess it isn't so unusual. Aside from Paula Deen, I don't know the rest.
I think so. Remember. the stars have to give up 3 months of their lives if they dont want to be eliminated. The daily training is strenuous, as all the injuries later in the season show. And, while the money (up to $300,000) may be good for D-listers, it's probably not worth the trouble for "real" stars.
I can see someone with real stature and a busy schedule have their business rep to say no, based on the increasing possibility of injuries (especially as the stars routines get more and more complex) and the recovery time which might cut into other oportunities following the show. Not everyone can cut out three months of time.
Personally I don't have a problem with Dlisters over A listers if they really do the work, considering they may not have the limitations an a lister may.

Every year when the season starts, and I have no clue who half the "stars" are, and I figure the show will be pretty awful. But, after the first few talent-less, fluffy, there for a joke people are gone, and suddenly you see the lightbulb go off for the remaining dancers and they really start putting their hearts into it, I'm totally sucked in and love the show.
I sure hope Paula goes home. Every word that comes out of her mouth is horrible.
Oh I know! I used to like her, but she's gotten horrible in the last few years.
