Yes, but not always deliberately. I sometimes fall asleep watching television earlier than 11 PM, then wake up between 2 and 4 AM from neck pain. In that case I slap on an ice pack and put on either Investigation ID or TCM Up All Night movies. Either one seems to eventually soothe me back to sleep.
I used to always stay up to watch Letterman and sometimes even the show after him when he was on NBC. Tom Snyder was one of the hosts.
I quit watching Letterman probably 5 years before he retired and there was no one else worth watching either, so now the answer is No, I never have the tv on after 11.
I don't even stay up for the evening news now which comes on at 10 here. The TV is normally off by 9:30 except when How To Get Away Wth Murder is in the late time slot, then the TV gets turned off at 10.
The only time it is on for me after 11 is if I fall asleep with it on, which I don't do much. My internal clock shuts down just after 10, and I need the sleep.
I usually like to turn it off ten to twenty minutes before I hit the sheets though, unless of course something worth watching ends at or past my bedtime.
mine is always on, but it's just background noise to me. i've always slept with either the tv or the stereo on. finding a channel that has the same volume level thru out the night can be a challenge - sometimes those informercials want to scream at you to buy their product. at 3am it's not a pleasant thing to wake up to
Yes, I usually watch the local weather and shows I've recorded from the last few days
