The end of season 1 of NBC's Dracula and season 1 of the the Blacklist Redemption were real dissapointmenting for me because they both got cancelled rite after that.lol.
I think most TV series endings are poor, but some stand out more than others for me. LOST and Seinfeld are a couple that immediately come to mind.
After hearing how people reacted to the ending of the Sopranos, I decided to stop watching about 2-3 episodes short of the last one and have done the same with other series I have watched.
I prefer to quit while they're ahead. At least that way, in my head, the story isn't over, disappointing or not.
Worst...Sopranos...left us all arguing over what it was supposed to mean. Didn't seem like an ending to the story so much as they just stopped telling it.
Northern Exposure had a terrific ending, Friends was wrapped up in a satisfying manner.

It wasn't just the final episode...the whole Don goes AWOL business was unsatisfying because it took him away from interacting with the regular characters in favor of a bunch of who-cares people like the desert race team, the vets in the town where he was stranded and the folks attending the seaside seminar.
Plus we were left with too many fill in the blanks....if Don did indeed author the "Like To Teach" commercial, then that means he had to have gone back to McCann Erickson since he was still under a no compete contract ..and McCann had Coca Cola's ad business. How that came about in itself would have been a good story, better than the one we got.
Did anyone really understand why Don was so moved by that seminar guy's story? It didn't seem to have any relation to what Don was going through. Nor was it enough to explain his metamorphosis back into an ad man.
