Supporting cast did absolutely nothing for me except for Richard Schiff, who I ADORE. But not sure it's a great role for his capabilities. And it's tough to not see him as Toby Zeigler.
Yes--I think he is good actor in some ways but he falls into the same mannerisms with many of his roles--that is why you likely see him as Toby Zeigler--
he is still using the same voice phrasing and mannerisms, facial expressions he did in West Wing...
Strong writing is very difficult to find with so much product being required to satisfy the multitude of sources for viewing...
And if this show doesn't get better writing it won't last--a premise w/o support is nothing...
"That there is NO EMT team on call at the airport"
You are right, that was an obvious goof towards any kind of credibility of that part of the story line.
I don't remember if there was no EMT on call at the airport. I just remember that the 2 doctors were right there where the accident happened. And then he did end up in an ambulance.
I don't watch much tv but I watched this one. I had to suspend my disbelief a few times as many things would never happen in the real world. But saying that the show passed very quickly for me so yes it kept me entertained. Most shows just bore me and I go back to reading, lol. I loved Freddie Highmore in August Rush so I will watch a few more shows to see how it goes. Maybe he can pass some of his goodness onto some of the unlikable ego driven doctors, lol.

What? That was HIM in Aug Rush!!? A diamond in the rough movie...
I understand why some viewers may have a problem with certain details of the first episode, but if EMT and airport police were immediately at the scene and rushed the boy to the hospital, there wouldn't be a story to tell. That's why this is a television program, and not a real life situation.
