We are watching Offspring now- it's hilarious. A couple other "family style" Aussie shows are 800 Words and The Heart Guy. I get so absorbed in them that I'm sad when they end. We are also watching East of Everything right now but it's only 2 seasons. Mystery Road with Aaron Pederson is good and if you like him, he's done a host of other shows you can find on IMDB. Also if you like mysteries, a couple of New Zealand shows are Brokenwood Mysteries, My Life is Murder, The Sounds and The Gulf. I'm going to go back and try to watch McLeod's Daughters - we started it but didn't get into it.

BTW, we have Acorn through Prime and it's $6 a month - well worth it IMO.

Fake or Fortune - from the BBC - a series where the hosts help to establish whether art works are by great masters and their provenance. I like it. They talk a bit much but I like the 'process,' it's detective work.

I just did the free 30 day trial to see Coming 2 America (the sequel), which was highly disappointing.
But I am a fan of horror and found the recent Blumhouse horror/thriller film series. I really liked "The Lie," even though it got bad reviews. It was a nice popcorn suspense film. I am looking forward to looking at the other Blumhouse films before my 30 day trial is over.

I think I liked a few of the Blumhouse films but forget what it is or what else he/that company have out right now. I like horror too...just not "gruesome". More "jump start" stuff, like The Nun.

Just started "Goliath" - a sort legal drama with Billy Bob Thornton, thanks to a recommendation from here.

It's very good! Addicting... prepare for cliffhangers that make you want to keep going! It's binge-worthy.

Goliath was great, love Billy Bob in this series. Season 2 gets sooo dark and Season 3 is just bizarre.

I stumbled on The Divine Order which was really good. In Swedish with subtitles about a woman in a small village in Sweden organizing all the village women for the right to vote. This was in the 1970s. I kid you not.

Also liked The Kindness of Strangers with Bill Nighy, whom I love and which is why I picked it, but he's not the main character. Very sweet movie.

Terrible movie was Into the Labyrinth with Dustin Hoffman. And I still can't figure out the ending. oh well.

I just started Goliath too. I'm only through the first 2 episodes but I like it so far. I also want to try Bosch at some point.
