I started watching it when I was in Middle School. The first big storyline I remember was when Jenny was blown to smithereens on that jet ski and poor Tad was heartbroken. I guess that was 1984 or 85 or so...
This made me laugh, because just yesterday my sister couldn't remember the term Jet Ski, and instead she said, "You know, the thing Jenny fell off of," and I knew immediately what she was talking about--she didn't even have to say the name of the show.

One life to live was the best in the 80s. From pouting hot redhead Tina to adventures in Argentina. I was hooked in High School.
I enjoyed many soaps, but primarily watched GH, AMC, Santa Barbara and OLTL in that order. GH was my goto. AMC had such heart and soul. Santa Barbara was underrated in my book, until the last couple of years. Loved OLTL too.

I watched Santa Barbara as well. That was a good show. Had a huge crush on Lane Davies, who played Mason Capwell.
