Actually, it will be a spin-off of AMC titled "Pine Valley". Exciting nonetheless if it works; however, I'm not sure why the Kane family and Santos family would have a feud lol.
I started watching it when I was in Middle School. The first big storyline I remember was when Jenny was blown to smithereens on that jet ski and poor Tad was heartbroken. I guess that was 1984 or 85 or so...

In terms of cast, I was always partial to David Canary. He and Kelly Ripa obviously did a lot of work together since they played Father and daughter and they seemed to have a good chemistry.

Who knows, but I agree with you. It may likely be something else manufactured since the show has been off the air. Maria and the kids moved to California to be near Hayley and Mateo back in the 2000's. The Erica/Maria feud happened before that.
Erica returned Maddie to Maria back in 1997 and that happened before Maria "died" in the plane crash right after learning that Edmund (not Dimitri) was Maddie's father. But they also butted heads years later over Zach Slater since he was Michael Cambias's brother (who raped Bianca) and had an affair with Maria when she was an amnesiac after the plane crash.
