Never watched this show, but I did watch the British sitcom on which it was based: MIRANDA. It's fun. Not destined to be a classic or anything, but it's a funny sitcom with a great cast. The lead especially is very charming.

Miranda Hart is very funny in her standup routine. But I found "Miranda" an absolute mess. It was full of cliches and not funny at all. I tried to watch call me Kat because I have a big fan of the lead, but I barely got through the first 2 episodes. Maybe I'll give it another shot with the new season. I miss sitcoms and watching comedy.

Was she on Call the Midwife for a couple seasons? She looks familiar.

It's a very typical formulaic sitcom. Sure isn't going to become a classic. But episodes are a chuckle-worth 20 minutes.

Yes, she was. She had a dramatic role and she was very good.

Nah, couldn't get over the ugly girl with a hot friend gimmick plus the fight with your mother cliche.

I like it, but it doesn't knock my socks off.

Pretty typical sitcom. Better than many, not as good as others.

To be honest, I think television programming has gotten better in recent years, particularly with streaming, so an average sitcom doesn't look quite so good anymore.

She was always very slender and tiny. Now at 77 YO and I'm guessing no cosmetic surgery, she looks her age.

Well I watched the whole first season last year and just watched the first two episodes, and I liked it! I hope she ends up with Max!
