First, why on earth do you worry about stuff like this? Either you like a show or you don't.
Another thing to consider... percents are thrown off by old people. 98% of all old couples are same race, it's the younger ones that have moved forward. And younger couples are by far more dominant on TV. Same for other stats.
It's nice that all people can see themselves on TV.
