I just discovered this on Hulu. Happy that it is in it's third season so I have a backlog to watch. I'm enjoying this. It's sort of a Thirty/Forty Something arrangement with a group of friends. One of them dies and they realize they not only do not know each other as well as they thought, but they aren't living their lives to the fullest. Drama ensues (of course). Cancer, adultery, life transition, depression, suicide, babies, gay kids, dysfunctional parents, child molestation, dogs...you name it, they throw it in and don't waste time, the show moves on at a fast pace. It has a good cast, all likeable with capable actors.
It airs on ABC but I watch it on Hulu. I'm at work today, anxious to get home to find out what happens next.
Yep, been watching since day 1 when it 1st aired! I watch on regular cable TV. They had started the latest season up again, but been off for a few weeks again. New episdoes return March 4, 2021. The style of this show & all the many characters reminds me of Parenthood. There's always something going on...a little hectic, hence the show title. My least favorite characters are Gary, Eddie, & Delilah. Gary's obnoxious to me & she's an entitled B for going w/ Katherine's husband. And Eddie did the cheating.
I don't know, it seems in the "older" days, like in the 80s, 90s & 2000s, there were more shows I just HAD to see. For the last 10 yrs or so, it seems that I can take them or leave them more often if they no longer aired, but I still have my list of shows I watch. Probably because I think there was better TV shows yrs ago.
It's almost like watching the news but with annoying people who seem to have no lives other than getting up in each others business.
