1st episode and 4th episode are my favorite episodes so far, and the 2nd/3rd episodes were not far behind. Very consistently entertaining show.
The Lana character was the only character I didn't like the performance of for the first 3 episodes, but her character was good in the 4th episode.
Superman/Clark has a very complicated life in this series, and that makes it more interesting than other superhero shoes.
One of the reasons this show is setting itself apart from the usual CW fare: Most CW shows are soap operas for teens, and there are very standard ways in which soaps are plotted, paced, how each scene closes, how they are shot, etc. Shows like ARROW, FLASH, etc. follow this recipe to the letter.
Arrow didn't always, especially that season where Ollie was in the "supermax" prison. That was brutal.
The first season of Legends of Tomorrow varied its approach, too.

Superman and Lois continues to be a very good series with good writing. It's way better than the other CW superhero shows in my opinion.
Agreed. I haven't enjoyed a network super-hero TV show this much since SMALLVILLE, and I admit that SMALLVILLE was often more of a guilty pleasure.
