Well, Mr. Potato Head hasn't changed. He's still Mr. Potato Head. and Mrs. Potato head is still Mrs. Potato Head. The only thing that has changed is the logo. I can't believe people are so tweaked over a logo change.

Besides ... the last time I checked, potatoes aren't born with genitalia. Why are we worried about their gender?

Exactly. He always skeeved me out, even when I was younger.

This doesn't fit their narrative, so it will be ignored as usual.

When I was watching Looney Tunes growing up I always disliked when a Pepe episode came up in the rotation. It was cringe and unentertaining to me then as a young boy.

Probably because of the stink.

I did too. And even as a kid, it wasn't lost on me that the cat was restrained against her will, that she couldn't get away, had to use evasive tactics, and that Pepe LePew felt perfectly comfortable with restraining a female against her will.

Cause some people are SOOOO triggered by 'wokeness'. " 'Wokeness' will be the end of civilization." "It will usher in socialism." And whatever other buzz phrase circulating in the Parler Halls of Rightness.

Watching Pepe Le Pew as a kid, I (and probably every other 10 year old in the country in the 1960's/70's) understood that it was a cartoon. Along with the Roadrunner, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and all the other Looney Tunes characters.

I don't know - maybe we actually had lives back then. There were many more things to stress over than some animated characters on TV. If you're triggered by a cartoon you've probably got more serious personal issues to contend with.

Well yeah. Maybe some of us do. Some of us were molested as children. Some of us had this particular cartoon bring it home to us, that some of us are helpless to stronger folks, but it's just normal, and we should just get used to it, and boundaries don't mean a damn thing.

Sorry, but I don't believe in book burners, either real or virtual.
How is no longer printing unpopular books censorship? You can still buy any of the Dr Seuss books or borrow them from the library. Nobody is keeping you from reading the books. The publisher is just choosing to longer print books that aren't profitable.

GTA is rated M. It's not marketed to children as it's not a children's game.
