P.S. The Cheers finale was great, too.

The ending of Lost was dreadful IMHO.

I've got Dexter on my Watch-Queue, so please . . . no spoilers unless so marked. But:

Did you know they "resurrected" Dexter for one additional 10-episode season?
"Dexter will return with a 10-episode limited series titled Dexter: New Blood, with Michael C. Hall reprising the title role and Clyde Phillips as showrunner, (he had the first 4 seasons.)
It is slated to premiere on November 7, 2021"

Honestly, as far as I'm concerned the spoiler statute of limitations is measured in weeks, not years.

PS - Dorothy makes it back to Kansas in the end!

There's a thread on it:

It literally says "spoilers included" in the thread title.

For all those panning LOST, tell me how you think it should have ended. I thought they came up with the best possible explanation that addressed most of the questions. I don't think there is ANY ending that could have answered everything because they had went down too many rabbit holes and the show had literally "lost" it's way.

I've watched the first three seasons of Manifest and it reminds me a lot of Lost except they figured out pretty early that they died.

Exactly. No one should be reading this thread if they don't want to hear about the endings.

But otherwise, spoilers are a problem. Streaming has changed the game and people are watching at different times. Ideally, I'd like to see a separate thread for each episode of a show. A parent thread or post #1 of episode 1 could have thread links to each season and episode.

Most memorable for me was The Fugitive series...possibly because it was the first series to have a definite finale, and it was a good one.

I'd nominate Babylon 5 as one of the best as well.

The finale of Newhart was witty and funny, like the bulk of the show.

The series finale of Fringe was pretty satisfying.

My favorite series finale, however is one that was written to be a series finale but turned out not to be the series finale, the third season finale of The Expanse.

I just watched the series finale of Supergirl and will add that to my list of TV series with the best finales.
