Its not rocket science thats for sure. But to each his own - I very much look forward to the show as it makes me laugh a lot. Pretty honest about young men's thoughts and behaviors (or what their behavior would be in those circumstances).
I usually end up feeling pumped up and happy at the end.

Ditto. Love the conflict going on between Ari and Lloyd, and am glad E's dumping Miss Anorexoria. What a control freak.
Is entourage the female version of sex and the city?
I don't think so because entourage is about friendship and loyalty. They may all mooch off of vinny, but they are always there for him. Sex and the city just seems like some older women who are somewhat close friends (do you ever see them do anything together other than shop, drink, or eat?) live there own lives and try to find a man (in some cases much younger). Thoughts? Hopefully this doesn't turn into a man vs. woman...double standard thread...
I think your underestimating the friendships on Sex in the City. I always loved the show because the friendships were so strong and enduring.
Just because the don't live under the same roof and live in each others faces doesn't mean they aren't incredibly close strong friendships.
Really, is that your defination of friendship? Who you live and run with everyday?
No, I've seen the show a number of times, while some of them are close, the chemistry for others seems to be lacking. To answer your question yes, proximity does help define a friendship, so if you meet up with someone frequently chances are your friendship is stronger than if you met up sparingly.
Isn't "Sex and the City" a female show itself? How do you do a "female version" of it? Do you mean have it be written by actual women instead of gay men?
Well I disagree. I think Sex and the City was very much about friendship and was the movie. Entourage is also about friendship. I like both shows.
