Anyone watch this?

I figured I'd start a thread since Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and the show won Emmys last night. Fey also gave quite the plea last night when the show won best comedy series for people to watch when it comes back in October.

I recently watched the first season on Netflix and have seen a few episodes of the second season on hulu.com.

I think it's pretty funny. I think Tracy Morgan is very funny and I also really liked the Rural Juror episodes from the first season. They also have pretty good guest stars.

Thoughts?

I like most of the individual performances by the cast but something just doesn't click with me. I usually find myself watching mostly for Tracy Morgan and Jack McBrayer. Some episodes are really good but others I have difficulty not changing the channel. Sometimes it takes a few years for a show to find it's ground and hoping this season will be the one that makes me a big fan.

I was in from moment one. I've been a Fey fan for a long time so I was certainly going to give this show a chance, but I never could have known how hysterical I would find it. Am I married to the storylines? No. But it's one show where it's funny enough that I just don't care!

It even (almost) makes me an Alec Baldwin fan ... almost.

Same here, haven't missed an episode. I think it is the funniest show on TV. Tina Fey is a comedic genius!

I'm a tepid Tina Fey fan. As a girl with glasses, I think she overdoes the girl with glasses thing and it's annoying. I also think she's one of the mean girls from the movie of the same name, that being said. I love 30 Rock ... Fey's self deprication gets really annoying sometimes, but I watch it for Alec Baldwin. He plays against type. I like that head writer guy who wears those trucker caps. Tracey Morgan ... funny sometimes. Jane Krakowski ... ok. That geeky hillbilly guy has some really funny stuff .. the time where he drank all those union guys under the table was hilarious.

Time to dig up an old thread and celebrate the best sitcom on tv right now; 30 ROCK! This is the only show that makes me lauch outloud every week. The hill witch, hilarious. I loved when Tracy and Kenneth started shoveling vegetables in their mouth. I loved the Liz Lemon class reunion; and last night, Tracy stealing Jenna's birthday party and Frank becoming a lawyer. Great stuff!

30 Rock is great. The most recent Harry and the Henderson episode was hilarious. I think if I had to pick a favorite, though, I'd pick the one that had Paul Ruben or any of the ones that had Will Arnett. I was laughing so hard in the one where Will Arnett was trying to seduce Kenneth is his short robe.

Default 30 Rock out of line??

It may be just me but watching 30 Rock last night and Tracy Jordans son calls Jack Donaghy a "cracker". Anyone else offended by this? I mean on network television?

Not offended for two reasons:

1.) Jack Donaghy is a bit of a cracker.

2.) It's Tracy Jordan. Being out of line is what he's all about.
