Well that's just unAmerican. I thought any good TV series is supposed to drag out for decades and decades until you've got the Beaver totally lost in the world, all the characters have already slept with each other a couple of times, many will have died due to drug overdose or been treated for severe mental illness, there's fierce resentment and disgust with the lead characters, etc. Oh, and then they jump the shark, go off the air and then make a Motion Picture out of it... and blog for months and months about which Hollywood Characters should play which role...

If I wanted to read a good book, well I'd...

"Wow" is it, exactly. You know I was real happy with the way that "Mars" ended - I mean really, how else could it have?

But then sadness. I really liked the show and all the characters. I hated to see the lot of them go. But an ending IS and ending and that very aspect is often missing. Over all I was just fine with it.

BBC has gone and done it again. What a brilliant sequel.

I love this show. I was behind on the dvr, so I didn't read the thread and finally saw yesterday that they cancelled the show. It figures. every time I really like a show..it's gone! I guess I should start watching these crappy reality shows, and they would actually cancel them!!!!LOL
I did love the end of last night's episode when sam was looking at the magazine that he had talked about having in his childhood.. and look who is on the cover!

I bet the finale is going to be good. I'll miss watching the show, but I'm glad they are going to resolve the story and not leave us hanging (like they did with DirtySexyMoney, which I am still pissed about).

Cool last night, got to hear Jason O'Maras real accent!

so does anyone want to speculate what the finale will involve? I hope Sam runs into no-nuts and she recognizes him. She'll be much older by then though. I also hope he finds out what happened to everyone.

I can't come up with an alternative ending since Mars really hasn't developed fully. I'm guessing it will be different from the BBC ending. ABC should be ashamed of itself.

I didn't get a Harumph from that guy!
