Queen Latifah playing Gwen Ifill moderating the VP candidates' debate was priceless.

I have to agree with you. Queen Latifah did and excellent job as Gwen Ifill. Her facial impressions were LOL funny. I think the entire cast is rising to the occasion. I just hope this streak continues after the election is decided.

My favorite one lately (quite possibly of all time) - FIX IT!

"When I wake up in the morning, it better be FIXED!"

Kristin Wiig's Suze Orman is so good it's scary! My favorite character of hers is Penelope. BTW she is not "new" -- she's been on SNL since 2005.
I don't think the show has been all that good. Maybe a little better than in some years. BUT the political skits have been hilarious. The new additions to the cast this year have not impressed me much. I think once the election is over ratings will fall. I don't care much for that actor's Obama impression either. It doesn't do it for me.

Thought last night's SNL was the best episode in about three years (outside of some of the great politial skits the last couple months). It was non stop laughs the whole episode. Usually I only enjoy about two skits and weekend update but last night every segment was funny. I'm bummed that Justin Timberlake won't be hosting next week as he's always very entertaining and was great last night on the dancing skit and weekend update. I wonder if they got a few new writers along with the two new cast members as things were really solid all around.

Justin Timberlake is just brilliant on SNL. Every time he is on it.
