How could you leave out Seinfeld? Even if you're too young to have really watched it, surely you know that the show was very highly regarded. Of course, you wouldn't get that impression reading City-Data because for some reason people love to mention how they never liked Seinfeld, as if that makes them more sophisticated or have better taste than the Seinfeld fans.

I think if you only caught an episode here or there, or even 15 minutes of an episode, you may come away thinking it's stupid and not understand the appeal. You have to really watch several episodes to get it. And perhaps you need to be a little older. A teenager probably won't get it, whereas a person in their 20s or 30s will.

Anyway, if a "Best TV Show of All Times" list does not include Seinfeld, then I can't take it seriously.

EDIT: I just noticed how old this thread is, but my opinion of the OP's list still stands.

The funniest single episode ever was the Thanksgiving (Season One) episode of WKRP in Cincinnati (As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly).

The second funniest, also a Thanksgiving episode, ironically, was the Bob Newhart Show (NOT Newhart; the one with Suzanne Pleshette).

After these two maybe add Northern Exposure, and the first two seasons of Night Court.

For drama, how about The Untouchables?
