How old is the news slogan "it's 10 PM do you know where your children are?".

I remember this back to 1979, but I wonder if it started before that

any ideas?

The station is home to one of America's longest-running primetime local newscasts. The 10 O’Clock News (now Fox 5 News at Ten) premiered on March 13, 1967, as New York's first primetime newscast. Each night, The 10 O'Clock News was preceded by the simple, but now-famous announcement: "It's 10:00 p.m. ... Do you know where your children are?". While its exact origins are unknown,[6] staff announcer Tom Gregory was one of the first people to say this famous line that WNEW pioneered.

Sounded so late in the 70's and sounds so early in the 2000's.

Funny memory from being a child back then--I was 10 in 1979 and if I was still awake or getting ready to go to sleep I got so scared every time that announcement came on. I think I thought of it as a kids being missing or stolen thing. Still remember to this day being scared by it...
