My family and I are taking a vacation soon. It still isn't decided if we are going to visit my wife's family in Belize, or go to Puerto Rico. If we do decide to visit Puerto Rico where do you suggest we base our trip, San Juan or Ponce?
We would like to see Old San Juan and El Morro for sure, but we are also interested in the beaches, museums, historical sites, etc. Is there more to do in and around San Juan or Ponce?
Any suggestions on things to do, food, or places to see would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
We have decided to stay in San Juan and see El Morro, San Cristobol, Old San Juan, the beaches, El Yunque, and whatever else catches our interest once we get there.
El Morro, San Cristobol, Old San Juan, is two days, El Yunque another day, maybe 1/2 day tops depending on if you dont get lost.
if you have more time than that - say two weeks, i say also visit west coast and stay there in a hotel too for a bit.
