hi
I am fairly new to this forum, I"ve been a member of other forums and know that some people usually take jobs in the form of postings. If I am "stealing" anyones job, I'm sorry I don't mean to.

I am going to post news clips about Hr 4213 and maybe other things. If yoiu want to add to it I'd appreciate it. The reason why I'm doing this is because I am so confused. If I'm confused that means there are a bunch of other confused people. So I found this article, I'll post more as we go along.

I hope that everyone is taking notes on who to and who not to vote for. The people who vote to bail out credit card companies and other countries but leave us in the dark don't deserve our votes.

We may be hurting for money but we are not stupid. Let's make our voices heard in November.

The sad part is too many people will vote in yet more Senators and Congresspeople who will/would've killed this bill, ironically many of these voters will be people who are hurt by these very actions (think of all the people who gave Bush a second term even though it hurt them economically because defining marriage was more important than their own financial survival).

I actually think Democrats will retain control of both the House and Senate, but by a much smaller margin, I'm thinking like maybe 52-48 in the Senate. Even getting "the Maine twins" and Lieberman on board wouldn't have helped this bill with that slimmer majority. What will probably happen in the end is that some form of all of the extension to November will pass with partial use of unused stimulus money as a compromise, but that will be it, right or wrong, the extensions will die in November barring something on the level of the 2008 financial collapse happening again before then.
