I quit my part time job for another in PA

Hello, I really need some clarification from someone on here, I quit my part time job waiting tables for another part time job waiting tables and bartending, same amount of hours, but better chance to make more money. I did have a firm job offer and start date from the new job before quitting the other, I talked to an unemployment person and they said it's ok, then talked to another today and she said they have to make a determination. I'm kind of freaking out, I'm sure that everything will be ok, just wanted some opinions on it, thanks !!

My opinion is that you shouldn't be working part time while on unemployment so that this kind of stuff can't happen. There are enough of these jobs that you take them AFTER you draw your last UI check.

I understand that, but I took it because I knew EUC was ending, and needed to have money coming in. The lawyer I talked to said I should be fine, but was wondering what you guys were thinking ?? I left for a better opportunity and more money.

All quits are investigated. Your benefits may stop during this period. Nothing you can do about it but go through the process.

There shouldn't be a problem - especially if you're earning more at this new job.
