Exactly!

Well, it is very clear from all the posts that GA DOL was and is not prepared. I realize they have to deal with all of us-regular, tier l and tier ll and now SEB but they should have been better prepared and it is a shame that the rep's either were not given the info or some just chose to not deal with it. Customer service-it will make or break an organization.

Great job-all of you! If nothing else, I'd say we are qualified to be lobbyist for the unemployed or activists.

Yes, you're right, I just pray and hope that all of us that didn't get paid today wake up in the morning with all good news.

I'm right on this, and for once am glad we have some pretty accurate information for once on WHY this whole process is so crazy. So just get off the pewter and file a new claim so you can see your SEB sooner. It won't hurt to go to the office anyways b/c if it is something else they can fix it then and there, so either way problem solved
Not intending stir up any issues but just to clarify cuz I could be totally misunderstanding what you are saying.... My claim year ended in March 2009 and I had to go in and open a new claim year. During that time, I was still on Tier 2. My T2 exhausted in April. I filled out the SEB app on 5/21 and certified for the two weeks we were told to start certifying on and my SEB has been implemented and money showed up in my bank account today. So I'm just not sure I understand the concept of having to open a new claim year if your current claim year has not ended yet.
