Just as an aside, these days drones are also the size of mosquitoes , butterflies, dragonflies, beetles, and many other bugs. They have video and audio recording in them too. Look it up in Google if necessary.

No special instructions ever given, during my era. Most of us viewed Keyhoe's 1958 book as either nonsense or very creative writing. Although he claimed we were given special instructions when encountering UFO's I never received any and do not recall meeting any pilot who did.
Thank you for sharing your valuable, first hand experience. It seems apparent now that Blue Book was a disinformation project.

More like now. One thing I learned is if a source lets information out that something is being developed it usually means it was developed and used years ago.

Area 51 pilot phones Art Bell-REAL original broadcast - YouTube
the only thing I think may or may not of happened was this art bell call where a guy in a light aircraft wen into Area 51 airspace but if he wanted to make it look like he had radio failure he would of put the number 7600 witch is a transponder code that radar surveillance would of seen , so if this was real he would of looked like he was up to some thing , especially when he said he was making hard and sharp turns.....that would look like he was making avoidance maneuvers....if it was real......serves him self right.

But the F-16 is coming up real fast and it is flashing it marker lights and trying to signal and make contact and art tells him to turn on his radio and respond but he continues and the F-16 pulls up beside him signals him and does not respond to the pilot and if the call is real he did get really shot down and that was stupid of him since he did everything that a military base that is highly restricted airspace and the F-16 pilot gave him every chance to avoid shooting him down but it he would be considered a threat and not responding.

With a USAF F-16 so close he says he is amazed by the turbulence that his little 160HP plane is getting from the vipers Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-100 should of been thinking that it is not a game and I wonder if he really thought that he could do something so stupid and think that the events that were taking place were not serious and the dire situation he put himself in.

I'm a bit upset over what I see as a loss of our privacy. I believe UFOs are real and a product of Earth Technology

US Drones Patrolling Canadian Border - More loss of sovereignty for Canadians

CNN.com news Drones silently patrol U.S. borders Predator B UAV

Police Surveillance Drones Coming Soon to Local Law Enforcement T-Hawk

30,000 Drones Over America! Obama's Weaponized Police State! 2012

they are unarmed drones and we are ok with it since we are part of NORAD plus they would be flying on your side of the border not like we would really say much if it flew over and fly into Canadian airspace I mean I have nothing to hide unless it is able to clock the speed of my truck and can issue speeding tickets for doing 5 over the limit then not a big deal really

now a very low flying and super supersonic F-15 were to fly over my house at night and set off car alarms and shake the house that would not be cool since that would be pretty loud and wake me up and my issue would be a noise complaint if it was just on a Routine Flight cause the shingles on the roof are still pretty new and American pilots can enter Canadian airspace if approved or in a without needing to go approved in a emergency as well as Canadian fighters can enter U.S. airspace if the is a threat that depending on which is the nearest plane to intercept will get scrambled

when the USAF or RCAF arrive it is passed off the US or Canadian control to fly escort and force it to land and Russian bear bombers enter our airspace the most to test response time and NORAD perimeter and we need some drones for the arctic so if you aver a drone discount sale let us know we need those for the arctic patrolling and het a better view of what is up in the arctic region.

Henderson Kentucky is across from Evansville Indiana, not Cincinnati. I was there in November. Covington is across from Cincinnati.

Most UFOs with descriptions like the one given turn out to be fire balloons. These are pranks launched to make you see a UFO.

Fire balloons are not the huge size reported. They are made out of dry cleaner suit bags or trash bags.

The problem is that they fool the eyes:

- NOBODY has the ability to correctly find the size, distance, speed or altitude of any object in the sky that is farther away than 30 feet. That is the distance when absolute binocular vision quits working. Relative binocular vision works out to about 500 feet, but it requires a patterned background at a known distance to work. The sky is NOT at a known distance because it has no fixed distance.

- People must guess to come up with the size and distance of unknown objects in the sky. They can do pretty good with known objects, but this is because they have identified them, and thus know the true size.

- People tend to conceive of an unknown object in the sky as being the size of a vehicle. This distorts the size and distance guess.

- Most fire balloon sightings are greatly overestimated in both size and distance.

- In Prospect Kentucky on 2/27/1993, police reported a UFO larger than their helicopter made "ramming attacks" at them. The problem is that the people on the ground reported something different. The UFO was barely moving, it was smaller than the helicopter, and the helicopter kept passing it, as though it could not find it. The UFO is known to have been a fire balloon launched by an amateur weather experimenter. The pilots in the helicopter overestimated both the size and the distance to the fire balloon as they tried to chase it.

There was also a bright fireball meteor seen about that date over the southern states.

The original post mentioned Falmouth, Kentucky. Falmouth is due south of Cincinnati.

I have a lot of relatives in Kentucky. George Clooney is from Kentucky. Kentucky is the undisputed king of College Basketball.

But I have doubts about any UFO sighting that originates in Kentucky

just a little joke thrown into a very interesting thread and topic!

HAHA...I don't think that's exactly what he was saying.

Thanks for any help!
My father was in the Air Force as a pilot in the 50s and 60s, then a commercial pilot for another 20 years after. He neither received any military intructions on UFOs, nor ran into airforce pilots that had any experience with UFOs. Nor has he had any UFO encounters as a commercial pilot, nor ran into any pilots that had UFO encounters. When I say "UFOs" of course I mean something unidentified that is so unusual as to warrant a passing interest.
