I would like to know, while watching paranormal investigation shows like GA or GH does a haunting happen less when there are more people around or does it occur more when there are less people around?
In my experience, I've seen shadow people by myself, once while hanging out with an ex boyfriend, and once when I was with two of my friends. I've never heard of a situation where a bunch of people experience a single sighting at once.
Does paranormal activity occur when there are less ...
The opportune word there is "happen" since it has been my experience that I can not make paranormal activities happen. They are random and usually when I least expect it. I believe that they do occur more often when only one or two people are present. In a group of people I also believe their would be too much distraction. I have never tried to conjure a paranormal activity with a group of people either so maybe it does happen. I don't even want do something like that.
Because people are more susceptible to mis-interpretation of data when they are feeling alone, nervous, frightened, and and there is no one around to talk them down.
Yes, I think they manifest themselves when fewer people are around for the same reason we can't be heard or understood as easily by another person while in a crowd, for example. Sometimes a "crowd energy" is so heavy, it's hard for them to get through because it becomes too thick and intense, and they have a very light, delicate energy that doesn't want to/can't penetrate so much distraction.
Most of the experiences I have are when I'm by myself, but a lot have also occurred with friends & relative present also.
Some friends of mine also had a lot of shared experiences in their house where a violent ghost is (they're braver than I am or just crazier) and I witnessed some of the activity in their house with them, including one of the violent attacks. Their house is a wonderful, big house, but I wouldn't want to permanently live there nor stay alone even for a minute in that house with that angry, violent ghost there.
This little hospital where I work is full of stories and I've had a couple of strange experiences there myself. One night last winter there were about 5 of us at the bedside admitting a new patient when the lights went off leaving us all in the dark. The light switch was in the off position and nobody was close enough to it to turn it off. Another night on the night shift people were watching what looked like a person on camera at the door trying to get in. Nobody answered when the unit secretary asked if they needed help over the intercom. Someone went to the door to to the entrance but saw nothing. It continued to be visible on the camera for several minutes. Was it some kind of glitch in the camera? It only happened that one time and never again. One of our plant employees who didn't believe in such nonsense had an experience in the basement that changed his mind. He saw a woman walking in the hall. She disappears into the morgue or cafeteria and has been seen by other people as well. I like walking around down there at 4am when I stay over and work on the night shift. It's creepy scary fun. I've never seen anything unusual except our security guard being chased around with a knife by one of the plant guys. They were trying to scare me when I was down there changing O2 tanks one hot and humid summer night. (Yep it scared the crap out of me!) We've had patients who don't know the history about the hospital describe seeing this same little boy. HMMMMM
