We have friends that have a child's toy (not Teddy) that also supposedly makes its sounds occasionally, unprovoked, although the batteries are supposedly dead. They see it as a "sign" of good things to come.
Funny...since we've known them the thing has gone off a dozen times (that they've told us) and they've lost 2 homes, gone through a bankruptcy, and had 2 biz deals fall through.
My comment was meant to be taken as sarcasm. As you pointed out, theres tons of home movies out there made in the 80s, I have a few myself from back then. Even then though, at least in my area, there were hundreds of people using the large camcorders. My first wedding was recorded with one of them in 87. I think maybe even my second was too in 93. Well ,that one was smaller, but still took the big cassette.
I am sure that was true. New camcorders were a major investment back then.
Got to give you a shout-out for knowing who Fievel is.
Lol, back @ you!
