Gove is an unequivocal slimey two-faced tosspot, with a cherry on top!

The Tories already have a bad reputation for shafting on the working & lower-middle classes; and simply detest those who don't work at all. And having Gove as their leader will just reinforce the fact that the Tories are malicious in their intent both with their own party and the country generally.

Yes, I suppose the next Prime Minister is going to be Theresa May. All we can do then is see which way she sets about leaving the EU, and with how much desire, and enthusiasm. I just hope for the best........

Gawd....... you couldn't make it up. The campaign manager of Boris Johnson's leadership bid, has said, Michael Gove would be a security risk as Prime Minister. He has an emotional need to gossip, particularly when drink is taken.

The knives are still stabbing.......... What a miserable bunch they all are.

How the hell do they expect to lead a country out of the EU and sonehow stand on it's own two feet when it can't even keep its own house in order!?

Yes, it's quite disturbing Zola. This country needs real leadership, and a sense of direction at this crucial time. What we are witnessing instead is pathetic.

There seems to have been a sharp shift in rhetoric against Theresa May over the weekend.

Looks like the situation seems very labile and we may see yet more political contingencies.

Quote:
SIR – The leading contender for the Tory party leadership is a Cabinet minister who was on the Remain side, who let more immigrants into the country in a year than any of her predecessors, and who helped toxify the Conservatives by referring to them as “the nasty party”. The fact that many of her supporters also hail from the Remain camp does not instil confidence.
I suspect that if she becomes party leader and prime minister, the main beneficiary will be Nigel Farage.
Michael Wilkinson, London SW14

SIR – How many voters, Remain or Leave, thought that their cross with a blunt pencil 10 days ago would result in Theresa May being prime minister?
Peter Boxall, Buckhurst Hill, Essex

SIR – The next prime minister must be one of the most rabidly pro-Brexiteers we can find, otherwise, whatever the outcome of the Brexit negotiations, people will always complain that they did not try hard enough.
Richard H Edmondson, Knockholt, Kent
'brexit means brexit' Top Tories unite to stop Theresa May becoming Prime Minister by ‘coronation’
Letters:*Electing Theresa May, a Remainer weak on controlling immigration, would just boost Ukip
Philip Hammond repeats Theresa May's threat to EU immigrants | Coffee House

I think the concerns above are sound. If the people feel as if they have been betrayed by the government in power, in choosing a pro-remain advocate to head the Brexit process, all it will do is migrate power and political legitimacy from the Tories to UKIP.

This is the man I'd like to see as Prime Minister.

A committed Brexiteer, with the kind of stature and intelligence I'd expect of someone in the office.

Rees Mogg the supporter of zero hours contracts and the man who want's Somerset to have it's own time zone, 15 minutes behind London.

In parliament they call him the member for the early 20th century.
