none of them are, the closest would be New Zealand ( south island ). Ignoring the geography aspect, of course.

In terms of lifestyle, infrastructure, housing and the economy, NZ is very different than the UK. Any Western European country would be far closer to the UK for those sorts of factors. NZ is also an officially bilingual country with large Maori and Pacific Islander population.

Probably Ireland, after that possible one of the Anglosphere countries especially New Zealand/Australia who we have a great sporting rivalry with in relation to cricket and rugby or parts of Canada and the US.

Netherlands, Ireland and also France in a lot of ways. But if none of those are PC, then northeastern US and South Eastern Canada.

Not really bilingual, Maori is one of two official languages but only 4.2% of the population can speak it, 98% of the population can speak English, which is the countries national language...

Besides many different languages are spoken in the UK, so I don't think that makes any difference to how culturally similar the two countries are. And most other western European countries speak a completely different language & have different housing, infrastructure & lifestyles too...

Netherlands and France are very different to the US.

Completely different culture.

Men in the Netherlands dont flirt, neither women does. There is no dating scene in the Netherlands or even France compared to the likes of the US and the UK where men date women, in Most european countries people become friends and it suddenly then start becoming more like a relationship.

Also different language, the netherlands is very differect and most people dont care for those they dont really known, totally different to countries like the US or Australia where everybody is doing high five to unknown people at 5 am lol
