Perhaps the residents of the UK have no idea which shows you might have access to. Usually PBS runs a few British shows, check there. Or you could subscribe to Britbox.

I can't think of any mini series but did you watch the Downton Abbey movie?

On Brit Box you can watch Escape to the Country but it's not a series. It's true stories of people looking at beautiful properties, mostly in the English countryside. I think you can even get it on You Tube and it doesn't matter where you start, it's all beautiful and interesting.

A movie I saw that was pretty good was Lad: A Yorkshire Story. It's especially interesting if you have any Yorkshire connections. (I do, so it really hit home.) It's a sweet story anyway.

Don't know what you have access to, but

Little Dorrit

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Dorrit_(TV_series)

Peaky Blinders is on Netflix, at least in Canada.

Crashing. There is just one season and if you like Phoebe Waller-Bridge she is in Fleabag as well. I haven't seen Fleabag yet.

Call the Midwife. I like the first few seasons, then lost interest, but still worth watching.

Killing Eve. A joint production of BBC America and AMC I loved it.

There are so many good shows, not all mini-series but full series. For comedy I like Gavin and Stacey, and Upstart Crow.
