Will Saturday be the day she finally meets her little great grand daughter? Maybe she already met her briefly over the last few days but isn't tomorrow the day she turns one year old? And the Queen isn't going to the Derby. I hope they'll be together tomorrow having a little birthday party and getting to know each other. I think that seeing her great grand daughter for the first time would do the Queen a world of good and she certainly deserves some good after all that she's been through.
The Queen has eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. I imagine that although she takes an interest in the lives of them all and likes seeing them face to face, she would not be able to interact with them all in the way that many of us everyday people would.
Remember that she left her own children for months at a time when they were very young when she needed to travel. The British upper class had a quite distant parenting style in the past.

I don't feel sorry for him at all. If a member of my family, said nasty things about me, on a tv show, I wouldn't want to be near them either. He has only himself to blame. He has been very rude to the RF, imo. They are very gracious to allow him to attend at all. I think they only went to get some media exposure & to continue the facade that they are part of the RF, after all that is how they grift money.
